3 little pigs - Halloween Parade

So with 3 new babies this year it was tough to come up with a group costume for 6. Presenting 3 little pigs: Oliver, Linden and Jack and . . .

... straw, bricks, and sticks: Kiernan, Evie and Wes.

Here they are in the parade. Note the scary wolf. And the political signs. Is it wrong to use your children to advance your political agenda?

Checkin' on Evie Mae

Oliver and Jack (and their moms and baby brothers) came over today to play and work on Halloween costumes. Not much was accomplished in the costume department but lots of successful playing - including a collective big brother check of Evie in the cradle.

The color purple

Linden has developed a very clear favorite color. He only draws with the purple crayon. He asks for me to buy him the purple yogurt in the grocery store. And he asked to put on my purple t-shirt this morning.

Sleepover

Linden and Isaac had a sleepover this weekend (so their daddies could watch the World Series together) This is them the next morning. Pretty darn cute. Wish we had pictures of checking on them ten times while they were supposed to be falling asleep and finding Linden in the middle of the floor asleep in the middle of the night.

We flew to Tennessee last weekend for a little wedding vacation. Luckily for all of us Bubba and Pop were able to come meet us for the weekend. We had a wonderful t ime. It was a beautiful wedding in a wonderful magical place. Congratulations Kris and Helen - thanks so much for making us a part of your amazing families.

Here we are on the plane.
Thanks goodness for portable DVD players and for Word World.

Kisses for Evie Mae.

Perfect fall weather - if only we had packed for it.

Here is Linden eating his oatmeal. The cabin we stayed in h ad two large tables to eat at - both on screened porches. We improvised with an end table and a patio chair.

All dressed up - and very cold.

Hurray for Bubba and Pop! Thanks for playing with us!

Ladies man

Apparently I wore this as a child. It says its 3T - perhaps children were significantly smaller in the 70's?

Fun with apple boxes and Evie Mae

We have lots of these wooden Apple boxes around our apartment - good for so many things as linden has discovered lately. Here he is driving his "van" with best buddy "dee".
then today Linden put two together to make a train. And Evie was all too happy hop on board and hold down the caboose. which lead to some real sibling interaction (other than putting the binky in her mouth) - making Evie Mae smile by making faces for her.
