The kind where you sit still and someone cuts your hair. Finally.

Cars cars cars

We haven't really been playing with our toy cars at all. then today I suggested we take them out to the patio and draw some raods for them to drive on. Now its all we can do to keep him from running back out to "the construction site" to "build foundations" with the work crew. Its funny but it seems like an incredibly "boy" thing to do.
But Evie Mae is into cars too.

Symphony in the Gardens

Bubba and Pop took us (and cousin Blakelyn) to the Symphony in the Gardens in Memphis. We had a great picnic and both Linden and Evie loved it.

Here they are ready to fall asleep on our way back to Jonesboro (driving not walking).

Snack together

New Car

Linden and I made a new car during nap time - not unlike the old one we made back in Philly that didn't make the move (for those loyal blog followers). He wanted Evie to ride in the passenger seat - as long as she didn't touch the steering wheel.

Picnic table

We finally got a picnic table for our patio! Here is our first dinner outside on it after 10 days to torrential rain.

Look Mom No Diapers

So this is day 3 of our no diaper weekend. A major success I would say. Here he is "using his tools to fix the metal bars" big boy style. Now we just need to work out what happens when we wear pants.

We've got a stander

Seems to me the transition from kind of mobile to extremely mobile was bit slower with linden. Not only is Evie now an expert crawler but she pulls up on everything. Next stop - walking. Hopefully she will give us longer than a week to adjust first.

Rain rain go away

So this image could pretty much sum up this week. Its been raining non-stop. Pretty fun for a two year old.
This container is at least 6 inches high - it was over flowing after just 12 hours of rain. We got a lot of rain this week.

We talk about Word World a lot but . . . Linden was telling me about how he needed "a big car to drive to mystery island." and when I came over to help this was on the floor.
