Memphis Children's Museum

Daddy took his 4th (of 7) Licensing exams Saturday so we all went for a fun day in Memphis. Children's museum for us - exciting for linden, a bit overwhelming for evie but still fun.

So we were literally on our way to a furniture store that was having a sale and passed by these beauties on the side of the road in our neighborhood. Kismet if you ask me. They need some steam cleaning and maybe a slip cover but we can now sit in our living room.

this is why I love the south

after a snowy cold week an amazing sunny 60 degree day. Perfect for a walk to the Firetruck Playground. Its awesome and right next to the fire station too!

Snow Day!!!

Yes we realize its excessive - but when you live some place warm you have to seize opportunity when it presents itself. It might be your one chance to wear those warm boots taking up space in the closet all winter. And who cares that there is actually only 1 inch of snow. It turns out you can actually sled on grass (if necessary)
