Creative sleeper

It serves me right for leaving an empty laundry basket in his room during nap time. He played quietly in his room for close to two hours this afternoon. When Evie woke up this is how I found him - sound asleep. This time at least looks more comfortable that some other recent nap time sleeping positions: under Evie's crib, curled up in the seat of the rocking chair, at the foot of his bed on top of a large plastic pirate ship.We've been having issues with nap lately. Kind of a shocker for Linden, the kid that until a few weeks ago never slept less than 3 hours in the afternoon. I kind of thought we would move to 1 or 2 hours before just not napping entirely which has happened quite a bit lately. Apparently though - as evidenced by today - if I just leave him long enough he will eventually give in, mid imaginary boating expedition and collapse. Print this post
