Trip North

We had a great time in Maine, Vermont and New York state. Fun to visit and play with everyone. Fun to finally celebrate Christmas with my family. . Great to spend some QT with my sister and her kids - on a mini vacation from their new life in Istanbul. Lots of good food and relaxing. And Lots and Lots of snow. Our Yetty (first thing we did was to buy him a snow suit on clearance at Kmart - its a classic):

no visit to Grandma Eve's would be complete without breakfast at The Blue Ben diner - its as tiny as it looks - in an actual dinning car.

Linden finally got to meet my good friend from childhoods litle boy Grayson - they are almost the same age. They had fun trading cars and germs together.


Which leads us to the one downer of the whole trip. we all got the stomach flu. This horrible plague made its way through the entire family and we ended up having a family barf fest the night before we were supposed to leave - we decided to stay a day longer and recuperate. Print this post
